Day 138- The Bible Recap
Day 138 | Psalms 26, 40, 58, 61-62, 64
Today's reading is Psalm 26, 40, 58, 61-62 and 64. Here's what stood out to me:
David attributed his trust in the LORD and his integrity to the LORD's steadfast love and His faithfulness towards him.
In Chapter 40, David again remembered the faithfulness of the LORD to draw him up when he cried out to Him.
It's the LORD's mercy, steadfast love, and faithfulness that preserved David!
David saw the LORD as his Rock, his Refuge, and his Strong Tower. He sought shelter in His wing. Why? Because he could depend on Him!
Though those around us may attack and try to bring us down, our hope is not in man. Our hope in God cannot be moved by man's plots. In Him we can safely share our hurts and our hearts.
Even though evil and wickedness may surround us and even attack us, the LORD has the final say. In this, we can be confident!
