Day 141- The Bible Recap

Today's reading is 2 Samuel 22-23 and Psalm 57. Here's what stood out to me:

David was praising the LORD for delivering him from his enemies.

God is our Rock. He is consistent, a constant, and also a place of rest.

The LORD hears when we call out to Him.

I thought 22:15 was interesting when it said that not only did He send arrows out, but He routed them! The LORD is precise in His protection of us!

The LORD is our strong refuge, and He has made our way blameless...let that sink in!

David gave ALL the credit to the LORD for his victories. He understood he was nothing without the power and steadfast love of the LORD.

We can be confident of the LORD's steadfast love for us, no matter what circumstances we are immersed in. And it's in that love that we find TRUE peace!
