Today's reading is Psalm 108-110. Here's what stood out to me:
David's steadfast heart can be attributed to the LORD's steadfast love for him.
In 108:11–13, David acknowledged that it was not the strength of men or military might that granted them victories but rather the LORD who goes before them and will "tread down their foes."
Even though David felt attacked, accused wrongly, and misunderstood, his defense was going to the LORD in prayer. 109:4
In contrast to the way his enemies mistreated him, the LORD dealt on his behalf with steadfast love. 109:21
