Today's reading is 1 Chronicles 23-25. Here's what stood out to me:
Even in his last days, David was gathering materials and preparing the people to take care of the temple. He then made his son Solomon king.
The Levites increased in number, just like the LORD said they would, from about 8,000 to 38,000.
David put great emphasis on worship, as Chapter 25 is dedicated to him organizing the musicians. What does this tell us of the importance of worship today? Worship always refocuses our thoughts and minds on the LORD. Out of that worship comes gratitude!
