Today's reading is Ecclesiastes 7-12. Here's what stood out to me:
7:13 reminds us that the LORD is sovereign. We will go through times of great joy but also great sorrow. All the while, the LORD is in control of both.
True wisdom says we can't understand everything that happens on earth.
The conclusion after examining all areas of life was that fearing God and keeping His commandments were what we were created to do. In the end, God will also bring judgment to every deed.
Wisdom comes from the LORD. True wisdom is loving and obeying the LORD no matter the circumstances that come our way because we trust Him and His character. When we listen to true wisdom, we find our delight in God alone.
