Day 042- The Bible Recap
Day 042 | Exodus 36-38
Today's reading is Exodus 36-38. Here's what stood out to me:
The Israelites were so generous with their contributions for the tabernacle that they were asked to stop because they had gathered a sufficient supply. 36:6 Their generosity seemed to come from truly changed hearts...away from self centered thoughts to honoring God.
As the artisans followed the directions given to them from Moses (and from the Lord) I couldn't help but love all the details. God's presence and holiness doesn't command a haphazard project but rather a precise intricate design!
Bezalel began with the most precious place, the heart of the sanctuary, the tabernacle's Most Holy Place...where God met with them. Again notice all the gold. He then worked outward to the table, the lampstand, and the altar of incense.
Very short and sweet today but I do hope you all are enjoying your time in God's Word and learning new things as you go! It slipped my mind to celebrate the one month mark but we have surpassed that by a couple of weeks! Grateful you all are joining me in this journey. I'm excited to know others are being encouraged by spending time in His Word..as I am too!
