GrowU is a series of courses designed to help you know Jesus more deeply and follow Him more passionately. We are driven by the conviction that the local church ought to be the primary vehicle for discipleship and theological training. These courses are a resource for your personal discipleship as you develop skills in reading Scripture and grow in the disciplines of the Christian life. Courses can also be utilized as tools as you walk alongside others in their discipleship journey, equipping you to share the gospel and serve the Church. A 6-week course designed to help you better read, understand, interpret, and apply Scripture.
Course Goals:
We desire that all who take this class grow in their ability to rightly understand and faithfully apply God’s Word. Scripture is not only meant to be read, but to be understood and obeyed. We want to help you handle the Bible with clarity, confidence, and reverence as you grow to know God more deeply through His Word.
We desire to equip you with a practical, repeatable method for studying Scripture—drawing especially from the CAPTOR approach (Context, Analysis, Problems, Themes, Obligation, Reflection). This class is designed to help you move beyond surface-level reading into deeper, more meaningful engagement with the biblical text.
We desire to prepare you to lead others in understanding the Bible—whether in your home, small group, or church context. As you grow in your ability to study Scripture, our goal is that you would also gain the confidence and skill to help others rightly interpret and apply God’s Word in their daily lives.

Course Goals:
We desire that all who take this class grow in both their love for God and their obedience to Him. Every spiritual discipline is added to one’s life “for the purpose of godliness.” We want to grow to be more like Jesus. This class can teach you how to grow.
We desire to help you practice personal spiritual disciplines found in Scripture -- such as prayer, Scripture memory, devotional Bible study, and fasting, among others.
We desire to equip you to not only lead yourself spiritually as you follow Jesus daily, but also to lead your family in their faith journey.
