Day 108- The Bible Recap
Day 108 | Psalms 56, 120, 140-142
Today's reading is Psalm 17, 35, 54, and 63. Here's what stood out to me:
17:8 said even the shadow of the LORD's wing would suffice. His protection is vast for David and for us!
Verses 13 and 14 of chapter 17 stuck out to me because David pointed out that the evil/wicked in this world only have this life as a reward...they will leave all behind. Those in Christ will awake to see His face!
In chapter 35, David asked for the LORD to fight for him. He asked for the LORD not to be silent or too far from him.
In chapter 54, David said those who rose against him didn't set God before themselves. How many problems and issues in our world would be completely resolved if more people set God before themselves?
The LORD is our helper and the upholder of our lives! We can trust Him!
Pursuing the LORD through His Word and prayer is the best food for our souls. Something that no one can give to us or take from us. It is the LORD who is our hope!
