Today's reading is Psalm 121, 123-125, 128-130. Here's what stood out to me:
My help comes from the LORD, who doesn't sleep...let that sink in!
When we look up to the LORD, it takes our focus off ourselves.
A couple of times there's the reminder that "our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth." It's good for us to remember Him as Creator. When we do, it allows us to catch a small glimpse into His almighty power! Which then gives us encouragement as we wait in our season of waiting or trials.
We can't be moved when we are trusting and abiding in the LORD. It doesn't mean hard times won't come; it just means we will still be walking through them with the LORD
