Reflect with us:
Today's reading is Psalm 1-2, 15, 22-24, 47, and 68. Here's what stood out to me:
The righteous delight in God's Word. It's God's Word that sustains and carries the righteous. They are known by the LORD.
The wicked plot against the LORD, but they are no match for Him. Those who follow and serve the LORD are blessed and find their refuge in Him.
David recognized that even though he wearily cried out to the LORD and his cries went unanswered, even still He is holy.
The LORD doesn't despise the afflicted or turn His face from them. He hears their cries.
I've always found it encouraging that 23:4 says through the valley of the shadow of death, not to. We will
come out on the other side, and before, during, and after, He is with us!
